Terms and Conditions
Insurances: Vanstar is fully insured for commercial freight with Carriers Liability and Public Liability.
Domestic, casual deliveries, Non-Standard deliveries including upstairs deliveries and glass or mirrored items are set at Owners Risk unless Limited Carrier Risk is negotiated. No amendment to these terms and conditions shall be binding upon the Carrier unless such amendment is in writing and signed by the Director of Vanstar New Zealand Limited.
Waiver of Liability: On receiving and or signing for delivery by Vanstar NZ Ltd the receiver acknowledges that the goods have been received in good order and that the goods have been inspected and found without defect. Signing releases Vanstar NZ Ltd and its representatives from any fault or liability claim that may arise from incident or damage to goods or property whilst delivering the goods to the premises. This includes any goods that are packaged and or concealed by packaging that may conceal damage unable to be detected and hidden from view. Any request for the driver to deliver goods to a designated area without the attendance of the customer or purchaser of the goods, the consignee removes all liability for the goods being delivered from Vanstar New Zealand Limited. Any installation or assembly onsite for any goods received are done at the owner's risk and no claim can be made or raised against Vanstar New Zealand Limited for any fault or damage caused directly or indirectly by the assembly or installation carried out by any representative of Vanstar New Zealand Limited.
Conditions: Pricing and or quotes are based on information provided. Any price rates given are quoted on a standard delivery service. Standard; meaning there is clear, reasonable and safe access to the site and or location for pickup and delivery. A detailed pricing structure is available on request for accounts. All pricing is based on volume, distance and lead time. All extra services and non-standard deliveries such as assembly, locations involving stairs, additional items or add-ons, moving items in or around to access the area of delivery or pickup, unpaved areas or hazardous deliveries; may incur an additional fee over and above the primary delivery fee unless previously negotiated. All rates exclude GST.
Other: All goods unable to be delivered due to consignee not being available to receive or refuses delivery, will be returned to the allocated base point. Vanstar NZ Ltd does not have a licence to carry or manage “Dangerous Goods” cartage.
